BritInn Funding Opportunities

BritInn can help support (through co-funding) events such as lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences. Applications need to list other sources of funding (which have to be used first)!

Special consideration and priority is always given to early-career researchers!

BritInn supports the following joint activities:

Workshop/Symposia/Conference Funds – to support joint research symposia, or conferences that take place at the University of Innsbruck.

Guest Lecture Funds – to invite guest lecturers from Great Britain to the University of Innsbruck for public guest lectures.

APPLICATIONS
Applications for funding can be submitted (within reasonable time frame) throughout the year. You can find all relevant information for the application here.

Please include the follwoing documents to your application:
  • Application form
  • Current CV
  • List of publications
  • Short outline/research propsal and statement of the benefit of the exchange

BritInn will support projects based and dependent on available funding and potential for new collaborations.
Applications should be submitted as early as possible to allow enough time for processing.

Funding recipients are expected to include the BritInn logo/name in all print and online sources (publications, flyers, power point presentations etc.). A scanned copy of these documents needs to be submitted together with a short report and (if available) pictures to complete the reimbursement. The recipient allows BritInn to use the material for the BritInn website, as PR material and for the activity report.
